The Doctoral Schools of the ComUE University of Burgundy and Franche-Comté have been organizing since 2009 a training course in the supervision of doctoral students, entitled “From the knowledge of the doctoral student and the analysis of the thesis process to the appropriation of support tools “.

The objective is to make thesis directors aware of the implementation of specific management of the relationship type with doctoral students. The objective is also to optimize the supervisory skills of thesis directors so that they best support the path of doctoral students, from the appropriation of the thesis subject to the development of autonomy in the practice of research, until the development of a professional project in the field of research or outside.

This training is organized in 3 modules of 2 days, the training is aimed at researchers or teacher-researchers candidates for the Habilitation to Direct Research or / and who are in a situation of co-supervision of doctoral students, as well as Directors of thesis already holding an HDR.
