A prolonged absence from the<\/span><b> <\/b><span class=\"s1\">institution may justify a proportionally smaller number of hours of training in your establishment . However, we encourage PhD students who are away from their establishment training locations to consider solutions offered by their company in the case of a CIFRE or at their place of work.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It is possible to follow MOOC online modules. The number of online modules <b>is limited to 3.<\/b><\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Theses whose funding includes a specific training scheme, such as ICE (Initiative Chercheur Entrepreneur) funding from the Bourgogne Franche-Comt\u00e9 Region, will provide a PIF in accordance with the requirements governing their thesis.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"color: #c52d6d; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Be careful: it is mandatory to follow a minimum 9 hours volume on research ethics and scientific integrity and a 3 hours training on Open Science.<br \/><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The PhD student must choose a set of training modules according to his\/her professional project (integration project at the end of his\/her thesis). The doctoral school proposes a list of training modules based on the institutions and on the doctoral mission of the Experimental Public Establishment. The doctoral college manages most of the modules of the cross-disciplinary training program. These scientific trainings also constitute a scientific opening for the PhD student (ED courses, courses given during congress tutorials of high level seminars, summer schools).<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The PhD student, in order to acquire the skills necessary for his professional project, must follow a panel of training courses balanced between the 3 sections above.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"> <b>It is requested to follow approximately 40 hours in science, 20 hours in scientific and technical tools and 20 hours in cross-disciplinary training.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-165b05d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"165b05d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">PIF (Individual training plan) <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae6b504 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ae6b504\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">At the beginning of each thesis year, the PhD student fills in the individual training plan form in coordination with his\/her thesis supervisor : &#8220;F<span class=\"s2\">iche du plan individuel de formation&#8221; (Excel file below)<\/span>. This form is <b>necessary for the registration \/ re-registration<\/b> of the PhD student. The chosen content can thus be revised each year according to the evolution of the PhD student&#8217;s professional project, but the three years must be considered.
